Acque Bresciane S.R.L SB Is The Utility In Charge Of The Integrated Water Service The Province Of Brescia, Providing Drinking Water Supply And Sewer Network In 97 Municipalities. The Utility Invests In The Technological Development And Research Of Tools That Allow To Manage The Integrated Water Service In A More Efficient And Sustainable Way. They Will Cooperate In The WILL By Making Its Own Premises And The Use Of Facilities And Networks Available For Experimentation
University of Brescia has always been committed to the continuous improvement of research both at national and international level, to the development of its human capital and to the support of scientific training in doctoral courses. In WILL, they will undertake the seminars with the support of their Professors.
CSMT is an innovative contamination hub in Brescia that creates, strengthens, enhances and develops resources and projects together with its stakeholders, bringing together expertise from the academic and research worlds, spin-offs and start-ups, companies, associations and institutions. CSMT will support the WILL by providing spaces for meetings and co-working. It will also contribute to the coaching session activities with its own expertise and resources in the Technology Transfer Engineering and Financing area.
Isle Utilities is a water consultancy company, recognised as a leading catalyst in bringing technology, end-users and investors together. Isle advances the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative practices creating value for stakeholders and a positive impact on the world around us. Isle coordinates the WILL and, thanks to its network, will disseminate technological results, and identify possible new evolutions of the incubator concept in line with market requirements.
Meet the Team from Isle Utilities
Marco Fantozzi is the Managing Director of Isle Italy. He was part of the team that conceived WILL and he’ll be supporting the Teams primarily in dedicated 1-2-1 coaching sessions.
He is a leading Non Revenue Water (NRW) expert with over 27 years international experience in all aspects of NRW reduction work. He worked at ASM Brescia (now A2A) (a leading Italian water utility) for eighteen years and has been M.D. of his own company specialized in water loss management for thirteen years. He is an expert evaluator for the European Commission for the Key Action “Sustainable Management and Quality of Water” and he has participated in a number of EU research projects.
Chris Thomas is the Head of Innovation and Enterprise at Isle Utilities. He will give seminars and be part of the coaching sessions of WILL. He is experienced in working with digital innovators to bring their solutions to the water industry. His work spans across the lifecycle of new ventures, having supported teams seeking investment, piloting and developing new products and implementing mature solutions at an enterprise scale.
Chris previously worked at Bristol Water as the Head of Business Improvement and Innovation. He developed the company’s innovation framework and as part of this founded a business incubator to support startups bringing their new solutions to the industry. He was also responsible for transformation activities and set up a number of new digital capabilities around automation and reporting as well as leading organisational and process changes across asset management, operations and the back office.
Antonia Frisia is working as a Junior Technology Consultant for Isle Utilities and will be guiding you through the Accelerator Program. At Isle Utilities, she works primarily with Industrial Clients on water efficiency projects. She is also the TAG (Technology Approval Group) Member Manager for Italy, where she supports the Utilities with their subscription to the conferences on innovative treatment water and wastewater technologies organized Isle Utilities.
She is an Environmental Engineer with a M.Sc at Politecnico of Turin. She has working experience on water systems and utilities and is very passionate about water technologies and water conservation.
Before joining Isle, she worked at Philip Morris International and at Siegfried on innovative treatment pilot projects, applied to wastewater reuse and recycle. She has an international background having worked and studied in Italy, Switzerland and the United States. Antonia now lives in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Stuart Moss is Managing Director for Isle’s European business and is an MSc in Mechanical Engineering. In the Program, he will be giving some seminars and will support the Teams in the 1-2-1 coaching sessions.
In Isle, Stuart’s team of engineers, scientists and business professionals actively source and screen emerging technologies, undertake strategic horizon scanning and technology road-mapping, organise innovation forums and events, and support technology adoption through market assessment studies and technology trials. Stuart has broad commercial and technical experience in the cleantech sector; he has an extensive knowledge of the technology landscape (both established and emerging) and has advised utility companies, industrial multinationals, government agencies, investors and technology companies, operating across this space. Stuart has developed excellent relationships with an extensive network of contacts within the global cleantech sector, focusing on identifying needs in the industry and matching these to technological and strategic solutions.
